Virginia Cado

A retired Xray Technician at the Louisiana State University Infirmary, she passed away at 4:22pm on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Ollie Steele Burden Manor. She was 78 years old, a native of Amite and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 in St. Francis Chapel at Ollie Steele Burden Manor, 4250 Essen Lane, from 11am until Mass of the Resurrection at 12pm. Private inurnment at Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband John G. Cado daughter Jennifer Cado Richardson son Scott Nicholas Cado and his wife Brandy brothers P.J. Materiste S.L. Materiste and his wife Susie grandchildren Ian Richardson Lauren Richardson Luke Leah Richardson and Elise Cado. She was preceded in death by her son Kevin P. Cado parents Peter J. and Jennie P. Materiste. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
