Virginia Garon

A resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 82. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home chapel, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, Nov. 30, from 1 p.m. until service at 3:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Milford Walters. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John B. Garon; two daughters, Donna Garon, of Baton Rouge, and Susan Garon, of Kentucky; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Richard and Jamie Garon, of Gonzales, Johnny and Eula Garon, of Baton Rouge, and Brian Garon; two brothers, Frank Bognar, of California, and Tom Bognar, of Washington; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
