Wayne Walker

Wayne C. Walker,

Age 71, native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Prairieville, LA, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Wayne was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending time with his family, singing and dancing. He was a former employee for Kaiser Aluminum.

Wayne is survived by his children, Troy Walker and wife Bonnie, Tracy Walker, and Trey Walker and wife Amy; their mother, Doris Samson Alleman; eight grandchildren, Lauren Swan, Ashleigh Gilmer, Kelsi Walker, Seth Haacker, Shelby Walker, Tregg Walker, Lauren Lessard, and Kristen Lessard; and five greatgrandchildren. Wayne is also survived by his sister, Delores Brown; and his brother, Randall Walker, Sr.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Cecile Oubre Walker; two brothers, Frank Walker Jr. and Robert Bobby Walker; and his infant sister, Linda Walker.

Visitation will be observed on Sunday, January 4, 2015 in the chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will resume on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 12:00 pm until funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
