William Clayton Paine

William Clayton Paine, age 69, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025. A native of New Orleans and resident of Baton Rouge, he served as Director of Managed Care at Baton Rouge General Medical Center for over 20 years and as a provider representative at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana. He was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University. William “Bill” Paine leaves behind his loving wife, Rossana; daughters, Genna and Arianna; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Mary Paine, and Tom and Lesley Paine; and nieces and nephews, Amanda, David, John and Hannah. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Mannie David Paine Jr. and Celeste Paine, and brothers, John, Arthur, and Mannie. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Owanda Campbell-Kennedy for her compassionate and dedicated care. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in William Paine’s honor.
