William C. ("Chris") Reier, Jr.

William C. Reier, Jr., “Chris” passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, at the age of 64.  He was born June 28, 1959, in Miami, Florida to William Christian Reier, Sr. and Barbara E. Richardson Reier.

Chris was a loving and wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He loved the warm weather and enjoyed sitting in the sun. Being outdoors was his comfort. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and woodworking. He also enjoyed listening to music, and playing his electric guitar. Chris was a jack of all trades – electrical, plumbing, he could fix it all. He is forever in our hearts.

Chris is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Thelma Smith Reier; their sons William C. Reier, III and Benjamin Reier; his grandchild, William C. Reier, IV “Liam”; his brothers, Scott A. Reier, and Timothy J. Reier, as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at First United Methodist Church, 930 North Blvd in Baton Rouge on Monday, January 8, 2024, beginning at 1:00pm followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm.
