William Turner, Sr.

William Albert Turner Sr. was called to heaven November 9, 2021 at the age of 81.

Bill was born in Hendricks, West Virginia on February 22, 1940 and was a 40 year resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is a 21 year veteran of the Army. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Sylvia Ann Stroud Turner; children, Jessie Albert Turner and wife Rebecca, Janice Renee Milligan, William Albert Turner Jr. and wife Celeste; five grandchildren Ryan Milligan, Hisa Turner, Star Turner, Aubrey Turner, and Allison Turner. He is also survived by a brother Jerry A. Turner and a sister Roberta J. Fulton. A memorial service will be held graveside on Saturday November 13, 2021 at 10 am at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home 11817Jefferson Hwy 70816.
