William "Bill" Zima

William “Bill” Nicolas Zima, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. He was 85 years old and a longtime resident of Pride, LA.

Bill was a wonderful man with an unforgettable sense of humor. He was a proud serviceman of the United States Air Force that epitomized love of country and family. He will be sorely missed. His family’s hearts are comforted as they reflect on his eternal reward.

He is survived by his children; daughter, Crystal Provost and husband Daryl; son Robert Zima and wife Kelli; grandson, Joseph LeBeau and wife Kayla; granddaughter, Tori Guidry and husband Rusty; great-grandsons, Mac LeBeau and Bradley Guidry.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Tina Zima; daughter Natalie Wilkinson; grandson, Dustin James Peccorano; parents, Nichola and Ann Zima; sisters, Helen Joseph, Lillian Dennis, and Jean Zima.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Joseph LeBeau, Rusty Guidry, Lee Ferringtion, Nick Ferringtion, Jack Parker, and Van Parker
